Last month saw members of our team head out to New York for a bespoke Phoenix simulator install at the prestigious 450 Park Avenue.
Located in the heart of Manhatten, 450 park avenue is an iconic building providing luxury office space to a diverse mix of prestigious tenants.
SO WHERE DO RACING SIMULATORS FIT INTO THIS STORY?
As employers continue to push the ‘return to office’ message following the pandemic, companies have become ever more inventive in their approach to entice people back to in person working, with an important focus and understanding on mental health in the work place – A strategy often referred to as ‘Office Peacocking’.
Setting the highest standard for office luxury, 450 Park Avenue is no exception. Designed to connect people and commerce, SL Green Corp park acquired the office tower in 2022 and set out to develop a new amenity offering, providing high-quality, tailored programmes and services for building tenants.
Fast forward to 2024 and works have started on the amenities centre. Located on the lower basement, tenants (come September) will have access to a state-of-the-art gymnasium, spacious relaxation areas and a high-end simulation room, including a Golf Sim and two of our BPS linked Phoenix Racing Simulators.
Bespoke painted in crimson red the Phoenix simulators no doubt look the part within this luxurious setting, with the added connection being that their sister sim is the licensed Aston Martin AMR-CO1. Built with the best components in the sim industry, drivers will be transported into the world racing via immersive vision (Samsung), realistic force feedback steering (Simucube) and a haptic system endorsed by the FIA (D-BOX). With a wide list of car models and tracks to choose from drivers’ can start the week competing head-to-head as F1 drivers and end the week in the latest NASCAR.
With an amenities floor kitted out to this spec I think you will all agree that the ‘return to office’ message may soon be a thing of the past for tenants of 450 Park Avenue.
